What this is

Trailo is a personal browsing-history tracker. The browser extension records the search queries you run and the pages you visit, and sends them to this server, which stores them under your account so you can search and review them later.

What is collected

• Page URLs and page titles for the pages you visit.
• Search queries, and which search engine they were run on.
• The time of each visit, and a random device identifier generated on install.
• Your email address, used only to identify your account.
• When the extension is first installed, your existing browser history is imported once.

Where it goes

Records are stored in this deployment's own database and are visible only to the account that produced them. They are not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third party, and they are not used to build profiles for anyone but you.

Two third parties see limited data as a side effect of features you use: Google, if you sign in with your Google account, and Cloudflare, which hosts this server and provides the model behind "Ask about your history" — questions you ask there, along with a slice of your recent history as context, are sent to that model to produce an answer.

Your control over it

• The extension's popup can clear everything held locally in your browser at any time.
• Signing out of the extension stops all syncing immediately.
• Uninstalling the extension removes its local copy of your data entirely.
• To delete your server-side account and all of its records, email the address below.

Retention

Records are kept until you delete them. Sign-in sessions expire after 30 days.
